The 7 Tone Generator for Modular Operant Chambers is similar to model 81415 Tone Generator, with an audio jack in place of a speaker for connection to speaker modules 80135M and 80135M14. This Tone Generator is a digitally controlled frequency generator that can be used for auditory stimulus in animal behavior studies. It produces seven frequencies ranging from 1 to 16 kilohertz and offers convenient modular cable connection to either of the ABET (Animal Behavior Environment Testing system) I/O modules model 81408 or 81409. A manual volume control is located on the top side of the device.
The standard package has been designed to be easily mounted at any of the four locations of the response panels of Lafayette Instrument Company's Standard Operant Chambers, or it may be used with a speaker module and modular test chamber.
This speaker module may be used with any 80015 Series Mouse Modular Test Chamber.
This speaker module may be used with any 80004 Series Modular Test Chambers.
