This activity wheel is identical to 80850S except for the larger wheel and wheel acceses port designed for larger animals. It is suitable for short term activity measurements as is, or with an optional living chamber for long term circadian studies.
The stainless steel activity wheel measures activity levels accurately and easily. The wheel has a guillotine-style door to restrict movement out of the wheel. A motor drive or variable resistance brake may be added for controlled exercise. An optional living chamber is also available. Use 86130 stand-alone counter module or 86115 computer-only counter module depending on your application.
Monitor up to 16 Activity Wheels or Triple Lickometers with a single USB port. All wheel/lickometer support is handled by the Interface without encumbering computer resources.
