All phone orders need to be accompanied by a hard copy of your order. All must include the following information:
There is a £50 / €75 minimum order on all sales. Open accounts can be extended to most recognized educational institutions, hospitals and government agencies with an established trading history, with net amount due 30 days from the date of invoice. When payment with order applies, this can be done by direct bank transfer or paid by VISA or MasterCard. Companies, students and individuals may call for a credit application. We require a hard copy of your order by mail or fax in all instances.
There is a £100 minimum order. Payment must be made in advance by: draft drawn on a major UK bank; wire transfer to our account; charge with VISA, MasterCard, or confirmed irrevocable letter of credit for which an administration charge will apply. Proforma invoices on company headed paper will be provided upon request.
Quotations are supplied as requested. Written quotations will include the price of goods, plus estimated shipping and handling if requested. Quotations are valid for 90 days; following that time, prices are subject to change. In such a case, please ask us to requote your order.
Labelling
All electrical and electronic equipment supplied by Campden Instruments must be marked with the symbol:
All electrical and electronic equipment manufactured by Campden Instruments will have this symbol included on their ID / Rating plates. Any imported EEE sold into Europe and the UK must also be labelled with this symbol. In the first instance the supplier of the EEE should be asked to put this symbol on any EEE supplied to Campden Instruments, if this is not possible Campden Instruments should put this symbol on any EEE before it leave the factory.
Disposing of WEEE
It is the responsibility of Campden Instrument to ensure that any WEEE that we have put on to the market after 13th August 2006 is treated and recycled correctly.
Data Collection
Any EEE manufactured or imported for sale in the UK must be counted as potential WEEE.
