The Cutting Table can be lifted off its carriage, degreased and autoclaved. It is then necessary to re-grease the underside of the table with Petroleum Jelly or equivalent.
The chopping discs are made from a material called Darvic, which was chosen because it stays flat as is a stable material but will only withstand a constant 60 Celsius.
